A positive report

The night has been stable. They have taken skin (the nurse called it ”corpse skin”) and laid it on places where it was needed, but they also found places which weren’t injured.

Everything seems to be intact on the face, but no one knows how it will look, because Håkan is so swollen.

Håkan’s condition is still critical, but stable. There won’t be any operation today, but they will change all the dressings.

(Comment: “corpse skin” is a synthetic material which is put on so that the body’s own skin can grow underneath. It is later rejected by the body.)
