The seventeenth day

Report from the hospital:
Håkan’s condition is still serious, but stable.
They are working to raise his blood pressure.
He is more awake now, and one of the nurses says that he has had eye contact with Håkan.
Job 19:26-27 ”And after my skin is destroyed, this I know, that in my flesh I shall see God, whom I shall see for myself, and my eyes shall behold, and not another. How my heart yearns within me!” /js

    Dear Gunilla,
    Please know that there are many from Sycamore Presbyterian Church in Midlothian, VA-USA praying for Hakan, you and your family. My daughter, Terry McCurley requested prayer for all of you on March 5th. My husband and I pray each evening, I pray every morning and I update the ladies in my Bible study class each Wednesday morning when we meet.

    I was reading through the book of John this morning, and in John 4:11 Jesus said " This sickness will not end in death. No,it is God's glory, so that God's Son may be glorified through it." Praise God for Hakan's improvement and healing.

    Dear Hakan and Gunilla,

    We are praying every day and around the clock, children, adults, adolescents. Many of us have your picture as our desktop on our computers to remind us to continually pray. Everyone in both of our businesses are on an email network to stay updated so that we can pray effectively. One of the ladies prints off every update that is posted here so all can read. We press into Him for your whole family and fight for you, our hearts burning within us. I am so glad that we can stay connected in this way since you are so close to our hearts! I am continually encouraged that the prayer of all is tipping the bowls in heaven and I KNOW that the fame of the Lord will spread through out the whole earth and many will see the love of God and be saved. Please know that we continue to intercede for Hakan and your whole family: natural, spiritual and all connect with you. We love you!
