The twenty-fifth day

Report from the hospital
Håkan’s condition continues to be serious, but stable, and he is still sedated.
Today his bandages have been changed, and he has also been showered with soap and water for the first time since he came in.
His back seems to be healing well. There is a burn on his neck which will probably need surgery, but it appears that they won’t need to operate on his face.
The “CRP” level, which measures infection, has gone down even more, which is the lowest he’s had so far.
They’ve lowered the medicine which controls his blood pressure, and even reduced the pressure on the respirator, so that Håkan can breathe more on his own.

  1. Vilken Gud vi har! Jag har blivit så uppmuntrad av vad Gud gör genom den här situationen. Gud gör något stort i Uddevalla, Trestad, Väst-Sverige osv! "Tell of all the wonderful things God has done!"
