The forty-fifth day

Report from the hospital
The situation is still stable. Håkan has been given a new bed and mattress. He sat up a little yesterday and today. The operation on the top of his head went well and there hasn’t been any infection.

  1. Dear Hakan and Gunilla,

At 65 years of age I have been a Christian for only 7 years, thanks to more than 17 years of prayers from my daughters and granddaughters. Praise God. Following your blog has become a daily blessing for me and I am honored to be a part of the Monday fasting for Hakan. Your blog allows me to watch God in action every minute of every day. Praise God for your recovery, Hakan and for the amazing strength you Gunilla have as a Christian couple. May He continue to bless your entire beautiful family.

This week I came across these verses and I immediately thought of you both. Philippians 2:1-2 "If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose."

    God bless you,

  2. From an intercessor in the US:
"Then they cry unto Jehovah in their trouble, And he saveth them out of their distresses. He sendeth his word, and healeth them, And delivereth them from their destructions. Oh that men would praise Jehovah for his lovingkindness, And for his wonderful works to the children of men!" Psalm 107:19-21

    Verse 22 continues:
"And let them offer the sacrifices of thanksgiving, And declare his works with singing."
