Håkan’s new phase...

Makes it possible for the doctors to say, “The situation is calm and stable. He is healing very well, so we determine day by day when we will operate the next time.”…Thank you for answered prayer!

Håkan’s new phase...

Makes it possible for him to be more awake. Yesterday and today, our son, Mohammed, was with Håkan; he’ll visit again tomorrow. They spoke about “good friends in Kenya”. Håkan smiled, with open eyes, and wanted to join in the conversation.

Håkan’s new phase...

Makes it possible for us to relax more, and in a deeper way, rejoice over life and the future…Thank you for answered prayer!

Earlier, we were just thankful that we had all come out of the house, filled with wonder over the fact that we’d all survived. Now we see the faith we’ve had the whole time – that Håkan will pull through this – be fulfilled more and more.

”Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Heb. 11:1

Håkan’s new phase...

Makes it possible for the doctor to speak with Håkan today, say that the abdomen is healing well, that they are proud of him. The doctor asked Håkan if he’d heard the conversation between him and Mohammed, and Håkan answered, “Yes.” The doctor leaned over Håkan and asked if he could see him, and Håkan answered, “Yes.” Thank you, Lord!

Håkan’s new phase...

Makes it possible for us all to rejoice over answered prayer. Thank you for continuing to stand with us in Håkan’s healing process…The promise: that his “wounds will be quickly healed.”

God bless you all!

Hugs,
Gunilla

  1. "Halvskapligt!" - "Not half bad!", as Håkan would say!

  2. It's hard to express how thankful and happy I am for each new bit of good news! Soooo glad to hear you're waking up again, Håkan. You always liked a good discussion - we'll have to send Mohammed more often - he'll get you up and talking again! Looking forward to the day you walk back into the church, but hope to see you before that! Miss you! Praying for you. Doing what I can to "keep your chair warm", as DR said. Keep on "fighting the good fight of faith"! Bless you, JG

  3. Great to hear how HAkan is doing and how God is doing more than sustaining you. Love from the UK,

  4. I have never forgotten how kind and how much a blessing Haken and Gunilla were to me and my family when we visited Sweden with David Tiday many years ago.
I pray God's blessing on the family, and that touch from the King of Kings which will bring healing.
    God bless you all,
    Bob Short
